Generic Zyban is an effective medicine to quit smoking. However, it should not be used if an individual is suffering from seizures or taking anti-seizures medicines. If MAO inhibitors like furazolidone, phenelzine or tranylcypromine are used in past 14 days, this anti-smoking medication should not be consumed as it may cause harmful drug interactions.

If a person is suffering from depression or taking antidepressants, consuming Generic Zyban is not advised. If an individual is suffering from eating disorders or has suddenly stopped alcohol intake, he should seek medical advice before consuming this medication. If any mood changes or emotional disturbances are felt, immediate medical reporting should be done.
